Following the Raid at Kalemngorok in Turkana South on 28th of May where 4 Administration police officers and 2 Kenya Police Reservists were killed and 4 G3 Rifles
were also stolen by the Bandits believed to have come from The neighboring County has forced the government to Deploy security officers to
recover the stolen Animals and the Guns.During the celebration of Madaraka Day
Turkana County Commissioner Mr Julius Mathenge said that security from three
forces Departments which Includes Rural Border Patrol (RDU), Anti stock Theft Unity
(ASTU) and Administration Police are working hard to recover the Animals and
the four guns. It is now 2 days down the line and only one gun Hk 11 Sub -Machine
gun has been recovered.The County Commissioner however said that the forces
shall be added along the borders where raids is common.Turkana South sub county is the
most part of Turkana county which affected by raid the question remain to Many
Turkana community is that How will they end
this fight .
