The diocesan staff have been urged to be giving thanks to god always, for the far he has put them.
Speaking today during the mass that marked the closure of the diocese of Lodwar, for the end of the years leave, father Joseph Okpala, said that though the year had a lot of challenges at least there are some achievements that have been made. The priest insisted that as the diocesan workers they should not be focused on material gains, instead gage on the services they provide to other people around them.
He urged the workers to imitate the work of Jesus Christ, that after undergoing tough temptations and difficult times he fought the battle to the end. All the diocesan departments have closed down their doors today, for a three weeks Christmas leave and are expected to be back on 4th January next year.
