Turkana county government budget was today read by the
county executive for the ministry of finance and planning Hon Paul Nabwin at
the county Assembly.
Speaking after
reading the budget Hon Paul Nabwin said that the ministry of public
service, Decentralized administration and disaster management was given the
lion’s share.
The other priorities was given to Education, Health,
Water, Agriculture, Roads, security youths and women empowerment among others.
Hon Nabwini however added that this year’s Budget is
friendly to common man as it touches to all citizens that will Improve the
lives of Turkana county community.
Turkana county was allocated 13.4 Billion more than
last year’s Budget where it was 13.1 Billion, the county government will reduce
relief food as they plan to invest in Agricultural sector.
