The developers training is taking place in Lydia Center which is acentre of the Diocese of Lodwar. The training started with a lot of participants injected from the diocese of lodwar. The training is aimed to help the Turkana youth especially the jobless to use the most available resouces, re-cycle them to come up with final and profitable products, market them within the local market in lodwar and outside lodwar towns like Nairobi, Kakuma, Lokichoggio and other big towns within kenya. Bemos craft developers is mainly based in Nairobi, kibera slums.The technical idea of the training is given to the youth within the larger Turkana Region so as to develop local skills of using the most locally available materials and resouces to earn a living. Bemos craft is partnered with Turkana Pastorlist Development Organisation (TOPADO) where it was linked to lodwar through the Managing Director Bemos Craft Lodwar Mr. Ben Omondi. Lodwar region is known to have a lot of bones within the local butcheries which are sold at Ksh.50 per bone and also generates the second income to them. Some of the outproducts after the process are kitchen accessories, office accessories, house accessories, candle holders and napkin holders. So far, the workers from the Bemos Craft have been receiving Ksh. 13,000 as salaries and the least pocketing Ksh. 3000 per month. The payments depend on market of the products.
