Two women lost their lives last night when armed raiders believed to have come from a neighboring country attacked their manyatta in the middle of the night.
The incident which took place at Meyen River, seven kilometres north of Lobur village in Turkana North District also left one child wounded. The child was this morning transferred to Lodwar District Hospital for treatment with a bullet still lodged in the body.
This morning, village elders led by KPR were tracking down the raiders of whom one of them is believed to have been wounded.
