25 years old Ekiru Eregae alias’ step father’
left school in 2009 in form three when he was arrested, however he still
believes in education and is set to seat for KCPE for the second time now.
The singer, who
is also supported by Turk land Entertainment, launched his first song ‘Jipe
shugli’ earlier today, during the third monthly youth meeting at the G.K prison
Lodwar, Turkana County.
He said he wrote
the song with the aim of educating the community about HIV/AIDS .Mr. Ekiru strongly
believes education will place him in a better position in the society since he
will use it as a tool to reach many.
This has given
him hope of not giving up on education so far.
