The National Aids Control Council today conducted a one day training to the CBOs and FBOs that have HIV programmes in Turkana central district at st. Augustine conference hall. The CACC coordinator Turkana south constituency Mr. Yese Erupe, who was one of the facilitators said that the are aiming at reducing stigmatization among people living with HIV/Aids, in the county. Mr. Erupe said since the training started grate improvement has been observed since the rate of HIV Aids has reduced, he insisted that we should all take measures because this disease is affecting both the infected and the ones who are not affected either directly or indirectly. In the meeting, the government was represented by the D.O Turkana central division who was present, he was pleased with the work being done by the NACC. Speaking during the meeting he urged the the CBOs, the FBOs and the community at large to work together to ensure they fight the disease.
