World vision ADP Kainuk and UNICEF have collaborated together with the Ministry of Health and Education within Turkana County, to train primary school teachers on children hygiene and sanitation for three days at Anna Nanjala Center. The workshop was facilitated by world vision ADP supervisor from Kainuk Mrs. Debora Oyoro.
The workshop started on this week and will end up tomorrow. The teachers were urged to form clubs in their schools that educate pupils on how they can make environment clean. They were also requested to be good role models to their students by: Organizing, showing direction and guiding them on hygiene.
In respect on hygiene , teachers were taught on how to be clean physically and environmentally so that they can educate pupils to wash their hands for five times after visiting the toilet.
