Kenya
conference of catholic bishops a one week training at St.
Teresa’s pastoral center to educate the public on natural family planning. The
training was coordinated by Mrs. Teresa Mary Abuya and two other speakers who
accompanied her and is facilitated by the Catholic Church under the diocese of
Lodwar.
Speaking
during the training session, Mrs. Teresa Mary Abuya said that this is was the second
phase after they completed the first phase in February.
Mrs. Teresa
however said that they are training teachers so that they graduate after they
have successfully gone through the training and the Catholic Church shall have
teachers who can train others.
The training
will concentrate on the theology of the body so as to understand the whole
content. The church promotes natural family planning method for many reasons
among them is that it goes along well with the laws of nature and that it
should remain open for the transmission of life.
