Friendship is one of the greatest gifts God has given to mankind. It something we yearn for and cherish. Yes having a true friend is a precious gift from the one who created us. But just stop for a moment and think seriously; just how true are those we call friends? How can we tell a true friend from those who pretend to be our friends for the simple reason that they want something from us? Indeed who is a true friend? Who is our foe? Unfortunately many are a time we cannot tell the difference between the two. This is the time when those we thought to be our friends turn their back on us when we need them most. The time those we used to cherish decide to disappear without even saying goodbye. Those who pretend to be our friends will silently celebrate the very moment they learn that we are experiencing hard times in life. They do not want to hear anything good has happened to us. The very realization that we are pushing on and nearing our sweet dreams make them feel uneasy and even drive them to seek the helpof witchdoctors in their efforts to block our progress. On the contrary, a true friend, yes an EVERGREEN FRIEND will always be there for us and provide a guiding hand or a shoulder to lean on when things pull us down. A true friend suffers when we suffer and rejoices when we rejoice.
