Misuses of government fire
arms at Lokiriama in loima District following yesterday's Incident whereby 26 years old man Echwa Etir was shot at left hand ankle by a 24
years old man Loito Ekadeli at Lokiriama center.Reporting the
Incident to the Lodwar police station Hon. Emmanuel Imana said that
the two disagreed over the he goat that Loito gave to Echwa and
refused to return it, forcing the accused to opened the fire Ak 47
riffle instantly to him injuring Mr. Echwa.The Injured man was taken
to Lodwar District Hospital where he is receiving treatment but in a
stable condition, the OCS of Lodwar police station Mr. Evans Omuga
said that the culprit varnished in Lokiriama forest and police
officers are hunting for him. This is believed to be another attempt
of misuse of firearms bestowed in ones custody.
