Following
the new constitution on Devolution government, LOKADO has been on the
move to make sure citizen should be fully participate in the county
Government. Speakingg during the end of the two day workshop at St
Augustine Cathedral Hall the LOKADO pro grammes Officers Mr Paul
Edong said they were training the citizens on Devolution Government
and itspolicies. Thee work shop had over 60 participants all over
Turkana county, and 32 ward were represented with two members from
each ward. Howeverr Mr Edonga said that their main aim as LOKADO is
to form platform that will engage the team on county Government and
sub -county level and will enable them to communicate directly to the
countyGovernment. Thee pro-gramme officer added that the work shop
has enabled them to create Advocacy frame work for every sub
-county and the wards also they has come up with policies to governor
the citizen.
