Local news 08.06.15 By Ken simiyu Three countries; Kenya,Uganda ans South Sudan agree to sign MOU as they look forward to end conflict along the borders.



The peace meeting which was held in Lokichoggio attracted the leaders from Turkana county,Uganda and South Sudan.
Representing Kenya, Turkana county Governor Josephat Koli Nanok accompany by his deputy Governor mr.Peter Ekai met with M.P of Uganda Hon:Samson Lokeris and equatorial South Sudan Hon:Jorema Gama  signed in MOU to end up the conflict in that corridor.
Speaking during the meeting Turkana County Governor Joseph Nanok said that it is the high time the two countries to come up with a lasting solution of ending conflict between Turkana community,Toposa of south Sudan Dodoso and Jie of Uganda.
The leaders added that they should conduct a peace meeting on the important of life, the issue of disbarment was also discussed by three leaders. The cause of borders conflict was said to be land, stealing of animals and killing of innocent people. matter of borders the leaders said that national Government will come in to address the issue but three communities should interact freely and doing activities together.
