The forum was to give citizens chance to face their leaders by asking them questions and givin their views on county government since devolution.
Representatives
from ministry of health Education and other line ministries in the count
government .speaking during the forum save the children representatives mr.Eric
Oyoo said that their objectives are to organize forums that enables citizens to
ask their leaders the urning issues which they fill the county government have
not done and it as in their manifestoes
Mr. Oyoo
added that citizen hearing is a room to know what the county leaders have done
and where they also fill they can correct to allow the county government work
for them and develop turkana county.
Some of
the questions were asked by the vice
president of children’s parliament from lodwar mixed primary school Terry
Epakan who asked the representatives of education the plans they have to save
the younger children who come to school because of feeding program to retain
them in School.
Deputy
county director of sports representing Education sector had thus to answer. In
Agricultural sectors which seemed to be facing a lot of challenges the chairman
of Morelem irrigation scheme mr Philp Esinyen requested the county
government to construct a warehouse to enable them find for the market to sell their products.
