Fr. Andrew Yakulula who is the
parish priest of Todonyang parish in Northern part of the County of Turkana
told Christians in the Cathedral parish to Touch other people’s lives and
give them healing through their touch for there is power in the Touch.
Fr. Yakulula said that Touch is
powerful sense that one experiences and compares it to the touch of this woman
in today’s Gospel who touched Jesus and received healing.
Fr. Andrew said that one has to
cross over to the other side of life so as to experience changes like Jesus who
crossed everytime to the other side of the sea to heal people according to the
scriptures. He urged them to be firm in their faith and help people cross over
to better lives. He warned that if one refuses to crossover in life he or she
will not receive blessings. He urged them to be patient with God and be
determined to get what they want in life. He also said that Christ has power
over death and he says anyone who dies is asleep according christ. He thus
challenged them to give life to other people without discrimination and they
will be blessed.
