The minister for medical services professor Anyang Nyong'o has said that ODM is ready to implement the constitution fully, if it will make the next government.
Speaking today during the opening of the ODM office Turkana county branch in Lodwar town, Nyong'o said that in the constitution Kenyans will vote for 6 candidates, unlike the previous, where they voted for only three candidates. The minister said that ODM will stand by the constitution, since it was behind its formation, saying that its first mandate is to preach peace to all Kenyans. He said that there will be no need of the voters cards, since only identity cards will be required. At the same time the minister for immigration Otieno Kajwang has revealed that his ministry has released money to the registration of person officers to carry out registration in the grass roots. He said that all Kenyans who have attained the age of getting the Ids, should get it before the election date. The minister were saying these today in Lodwar town during the ceremony of opening ODM office Turkana county branch.
