Rev. Fr. Evan Linus Ekai has urged the youth to experience the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ in the feast of Epiphany during their 3rd Mass at St. Augustine's Cathedral today.The youth that have just started their 1 st term with a lot of Hopes for better results this year congregated to give God Thanks for their lives and ask him for his Guidance and protection. Fr. Ekai challenged the youth during his Homily to emulate the example of Christ so as to bring transformation to the community through their good actions.
Fr. Ekai said that the kingship of Christ is a unifying factor and not the one that divide like the earthly leaders who divide and rule. He challenged the youth to work towards peace and unity in the county in order to witness Christ in their lives.
Elsewhere Vicar general Fr. Joseph Ekalimon informed the faithfuls and the entire Turkana Community during his 2nd Mass at St. Augustine's Cathedral Parish to support Education in the County. Informing faithfuls on the issues of St. Kevins Secondary School, the Vicar General urged the community to support the appointed Head teacher of the school who will be working hand in hand with Brother Luis for the betterment of the school. He also said that Brother Luis will be in charge of St. James Juniarate to oversee the spirituality of the students studying at St. Kevins.
