The boda boda Association of Lodwar has dissolved its office after its term of service elapsed.
Speaking in the office today, the association's spokesman John Alemu, said that they dissolved the office yesterday after a meeting that was attended by all the out going committee members. Alemu who is also the technical adviser of the association said that they reached into the resolution after the out going officials being in the office for the last two years.
He called for any registered member who intends to vie for any position to get the nomination forms from the office. He warned the members from violating rules with excuse of having no office, that they will be punished severely by the hand of law.
The registration for aspirants is set between 23rd and 31st January while members from 21st January to 6th February. The election is set to take place on 10th of February, 20 days after dissolving the office.
