The body of an year old boy was
today morning found dumped at Kawalase lagha 5 km north of Lodwar Police
Station. Eye witnesses called the OCS Lodwar Mr. Evans Omuga and informed him
that the body of a dead boy was found lying at the banks of the lagha today
morning.Confirming the incident the OCS Lodwar Mr. Evans Omuga said that the after
the reports he and his team went to collect the dead body. After observation,
Mr. Omuga said that the body of the boy showed that the child might have been burnt on the head
and had been receiving some kind of treatment. He reported that the burns
were so severe up to the neck. The body
is in Lodwar District Mortuary and his unclaimed body. At the time of reporting the mother of the
child has not been identified. We should respect the dead and bury them in the
right way for it is the will of God that
they have died. From Radio Akicha, Is this how mothers can treat their dead
children?! Point to ponder!
