The Kenya Medical Training Colleges zonal ball games which have been organized by the Zonal committee was played today at Lodwar MTC. The deputy principal of the Lodwar Kenya medical Training college Mr. Maurice Namisi said that they are hosting zone 7 games which comprises of 3 colleges with them, is Kakamega, Webuye and the hosts Lodwar.
Mr. Namisi said that today they only hosted Kakamega, who participated in foot ball, volley ball, hand ball, long tennis and other in door games. The game which is scheduled for one day took place in three venues that is Lodwar mixed primary, St. Kevin's Secondary and bishop Mahon center Lokiriama. He added that the theme of the game is derived from the agenda 4 of the national accord, which states that institutions should be involved in the promotion of peace. Hee noted that on 26th of March, Lodwar (MTC) will be going to Webuye for the second rounds of the zonals before they come up with one team that will represent the zone in the inter-zonal games later in the year. Mr. Namisi high lighted that there are 13 activities, but his college will be participating in only 6 activities, due to lack of enough facilities.
