Human beings should know that God loves them because he chose them, Bishop Kimengich insisted today when he Celebrated staff Mass at St. Thomas Chapel. His Lordship said that they should compare their lives with Mary the mother of Jesus who was chosen right from the beginning and because of that she went into heaven and was crowned the Queen of Heaven.
Bishop Dominic said that, since the life of a human being is short, they should utilize their time serving God, than wasting time doing worldly things. He said that the Angel came and told Mary that she was full of grace and she was to give birth to the messiah. The Bishop gave the example of Paul to the Thessalonian when he said God loves us.
He urged the Diocesan staff to put in practice the commandment of God and that will show their love to him. He noted that most Christians give up when faced by life challenges or temptations, therefore there is need to keep their faith so as to get to the final destination.
