LOCAL NEWS-25.12.2010-BY PRINCE SOFARI WYCLIFFE. KIMENGICH CHRISTMASS MESSAGE
The Auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Lodwar Dominic Kimeng'ich has asked christians to pray and maintain peace and love of God this season.
In a mass he celebrated at St Augustine Parish today, Kimengich urged christians to welcome Jesus to be born into their heart. He told them to walk with humbleness and simplicity and prepare their hearts for God.
He further asked christians to go tell others about the birth of the baby Jesus into the world as a blessing.
During the celebration, Kimeng'ich was assisted by Fr. John Manzi kizito.
Meanwhile, Fr. Raphael Cefalo of Risen Christ Parish Nakwamekwi thanked the christian families for taking an example of denial to resemble the Mary's and Joseph family through the lamb of God Jesus christ.
At the same, residents of Nakwamekwi were happy for this great day of Jesus birth and celebration. Some of them appreciated the gift of life from God and the light of faith through Jesus christ.
