A primary school head teacher in Turkana South District has died after drowning in River Kerio. According to Turkana South DO, Mr. Bethwel Sang, the teacher was attempting to cross the river on his way home from school.
Mr. Sang said the body of the Kotoro Primary School head was found after two days and moved to the Lodwar District Hospital mortuary. The DO cautioned locals against crossing the floaded river.
