The Christian faithfuls from St. Augustine's Cathedral parish have been requested to be one just as their father in heaven is one so as to be worthy to be called sons and daughters of God. Addressing the faithfuls today during his Homily, his lordship Dominic Kimengich called upon all to be united as they discover Natural resources in the county. Mentioning on the on going oil exploration in the County, his lordship encouraged all to be focused in mind and body and seek for God's intervention in all their decisions.

The bishop also encouraged the faithfuls to pray for Vocations and especially the call to priesthood as they celebrate the birth of John the baptist who lived his call. Bishop Dominic added that children are Gifts from God referring to the example of Zachary and Elizabeth who got the child ( John the baptist ) at their old age. He challenged the couples to be united and faithful to their marriages so as to emulate the example of Zachary and Elizabeth.

The Christians were also encouraged to be patient in their expectations and give God time to plan for them for God's time is the best time for all.
