Tension arose the village Kanaan in the Kanamkemer IDP camp after a goat buried its own kid, hours after birth in an unclear circumstance. According to the owner of the goat Mr. Samuel Lemuya, the goat gave birth to a normal kid, which he says his wife left it to clean up. Surprisingly when she returned she found the goat stranded without a kid, only to find that it had buried it under the soil.
Lemuya who is a farmer with 14 goats, says that he is surprised to experience such like an incident for the first time since his birth. He added that he has done consultations up to where his wife comes from, the incident is very new to him. Mr. Lemuya said that he is not worried because he is a saved Christian who believes that those may be the signs of the end of the world as it was prophesied.
He took heart and said that this is normal and can happen to any body and believes that it has no effect to his family in any way.
This is happening 7 months after another incident in Nakwamekwi where a goat delivered a kid with 5 legs, though its whole body was very normal. Later it died after a period of two days.
