6 Journalists from St. Kevin secondary school early today visited Radio Akicha led by their club patron Mr. Ambrose Oliech. Journalist both from channel 27 and Bumburuka Radio were happy to learn the news writing, live presentation, technicals and recording. Chairman channel 27 Mathenge Jackson appreciated radio Akicha fraternity for their welcoming. St. Kevin is one of the best performing district day school in the Turkana county.
Mr. Ambrose Oliech, patron channel 27 said that their visit to radio Akicha has added their inspiration in Journalism. Therefore, channel 27 and Bumburuka radio clubs St. Kevin may produce future Journalist if they will commit themselves to field especially news gathering and writing as well as presentation.
Channel 27 club present their news on Monday Morning live from the school Assembly and Bumburuka Radio on Fridays morning in Kiswahili.
