Bishop Patrick Harrington together with Fr John Manzi have early today confirmed many Christians and students drawn from schools around Lodwar,at St Augustine's Cathedral.
Speaking during his homily the prelate pointed out that today being a mission Sunday all are called to serve God and preach the good news to all people. His Lordship pointed out that Turkana is a big country that requires committed teachers and catechist who can teach the Catholic faith well. He commissioned catechist Phi lemon Lokol as a catechist in the Catholic Church. He as also asked all Christians to support catechist for them to serve better.
The commissioned catechist thanked His Lordship and all Christians for finding him worthy to serve the church as a catechist. He said he made it through prayer and perseverance. Phi lemon Lokol calls for Christians to serve God.
