Three people died and three others were injured in a raid at
Lorengippi village in Loima sub-county. According to an eye witness Emugi
Longiron from Lorengippi said that the incident occurred at 5.00am whereby an
unknown number of bandits believed to have come from neighboring Pokot North
sub-County ambushed Lorengippi village killing the three a woman and two men
among them a Kpr. They walked away with an unknown number of livestock and in
the process two raiders were also killed. The injured three are in Lodwar
District hospital, a woman and one man who were shot in the legs and another
man was shot in the head they are all receiving treatment. GSU, Regular police
and AP are pursuing the raiders at the moment.
