Turkana County Governor,
Honorable Josephat Nanok joined British
high Commissioner, D.r Christian Turner as they paid a courtesy visit at the
Tullow Oil Kenya operational site at Ngamia 3.The governor and the British High
Commissioner accompanied by Tullow Kenya County Manager, Martin Mbogo and
representatives from the Ministry of energy and petroleum visited the site. The
visit came as part of the commissioner’s tour in the Country. The Tullow Kenya County
Manager, Martin Mbogo, said that the visit is also part of Tullow’s wider ongoing
stake holder’s relationship engagements.
Mr. Mbogo said that Tullow
remains committed to ensuring that the local community and Kenyans in general
benefit from the development of the oil and gas industry. This year the company plans to invest nearly
Ksh.400 million in social projects especially water and education projects. The
British high commissioner, D.r Turner had this to say about his tour at the
site.
