The
National Government is planning to employ more teachers soon as Lokipetot
Areng’aa Primary School is hoping to get a fair share of the numbers to be
employed as it suffers the disease of under staffing. The school situated at
Lobei ward, Lo
ima Sub-County was started in 2011 and has a total of 205 pupils but with only two teachers, one of the teachers is Enok Ebwangan, a 65 year old man, who teaches oral literature to nursery school children and the other teacher is the area chief, Sylvester Lolele. The school ends its normal day at 9 am so as to allow the chief to perform his administrative duty. Speaking on phone Mr. Sylvester Lolele, Lokipetot location chief who is also a former teacher, said the situation of education in the area seems to be long forgotten as no one has ever bothered visiting the area to assess the situation.
