More than 10 raiders
believed to be from North Pokot County
attacked a village in Lokiriama location, Loima Sub-County and escaped with 300
livestock, leaving behind a handcuffed 12 year old boy who was rescued by the
villagers. The raiders tried escaping with the livestock which took the efforts
of the National Reservist Police to recover the stolen livestock and rescued
the 12 year old boy who was handcuffed by the raiders. Lokiriama Location Chief,
Mr. Lucas Akeru, urged the National Government to deploy more National
Reservist Police in the area.
