Three schools in Turkana County were
provided by lap desks for studies from General Motors East Africa, the desks
which are portable were given to Kanamkemer primary school, Naotin and

improve learning conditions in the country especially to those students in
schools without enough sitting materials.
He also said they have a long term project which
will enable them to distribute 10 – 20 thousand lap desks each year to
different schools around the country but their main focus will be on schools in
marginalized region.
The D.E.O Turkana central Mr. Muthengi said that the
desks will help create conducive learning conditions for pupils especially in Kanamkemer
