Turkana
county governor, Josphat Nanok during the Mashujaa day promised to
work with women, youths, disabled community and aged men all because of development
and growth of this county. The governor said this yesterday at the Moi gardens
where the celebration took place. He promised to involve each party in his plan
for development and urged them to work together with his government.
Giving his
Mashujaa day speech to the large desperate crowd who were eager to hear what
their boss had, the governor said there have been delays experienced in getting
money to fund various groups because of certain laws that had to be followed but
that has been solved and everything will now progress as planned.
The governor
also called for unity among leaders and he added that soon he will be
introducing a council of elders in every ward which will include both men and
women who will help in decision making and implementing certain issues.
